Who is this course for?
This artistic program is perfect for anyone between 18 and 99 years old with an interest in Italian and Painting. Do you want to combine your passion for the Italian language with improving your artistic skills then this is the perfect course for you! The course accepts beginners and advanced artists. Italian lessons take place every day in the morning at the language school, while painting lessons take place in the afternoon.
How will I study Italian?
Do you already speak Italian? Students with previous knowledge of Italian can take a written and oral placement test to assess their language skills and determine the most appropriate group for them. If you are an absolute beginner, you will be placed in the Standard Italian course level A1. You will get to work on all aspects of the language, with a special focus on developing your communication skills in speaking and writing. Choose the Italian and Painting course and enjoy a unique experience in the beautiful city of Florence!
- Lessons: 20 Italian lessons per week,
- Duration & time: 45 minutes each from Monday to Friday,
- Class size: 11 - 14 per class

- Levels: From complete beginner to advanced A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 (according to CEF level scale)
Each level can be completed in four weeks. You can progress to the next level after successfully completing a test.
What will I learn during painting classes?
You are introduced to the technical and theoretical aspects of painting in a variety of media. Studio exercises will be enriched by discussions, critiques, illustrated lectures, museum visits, and analysis of historical and contemporary paintings.

Please note that courses are held in Italian.
Beginner Level: Beginning students will work with still life, live models, and urban environments. Classes focus on the use of color, value, and composition.
Intermediate Level: Intermediate students will continue to develop the skills acquired in the beginning level and begin to develop their visual language.
Advanced Level: The advanced student is expected to have mastered the technical aspects of painting and will begin to create a body of work that reflects his or her style and ideas.
