Tetouan is a large town situated in northern Morocco. Tetouan is slightly inland from the Mediterranean Sea, just 60 km east of Tangers, on the northern most tip of Morocco. Tetouan is a summer residence of the King Mohamed V.

• Bank holidays: The school is open the whole year but is closed for holy days which are not already known. In any case, the courses will be postponed and you will be informed at your enrollment

Our Arabic school in Morocco offers cultural activities and excursions thus giving you every opportunity to experience Moroccan culture, complementing the language you are learning (theatre, linguistic trips to foreign countries …) Students are responsible for any fees related to these optional activities.

• Host Family: single room, half board. It may not always be possible to provide a homestay within walking distance of the school. Please apply early.  
  Participants who feel they may not be able to adapt to the life with a Moroccan family should consider living in a hotel or aprtment. Participants may experience lack of privacy, unfamiliar meal times and dietary habits, unavailability of study space, unfamiliar sanitary fixtures (in some cases, "traditional" toilets), far location of host family. Nevertheless, for most participants, living with a Moroccan family has been a great experience.

How to get to my accommodation in Tetouan?

• From Tangier/Tetouan airport
• Ferry: Trains in Morocco are very comfortable and fairly inexpensive. They cover a limited network of routes, but travel between all the major cities so they are easily the best option. They are reliable, comfortable, fast and efficient.
• Nearest port: Tangier port: Ceuta port.
  
• Bus: Buses are usually cheaper than shared taxis and they do more regular routes. Shared taxis will bring you to your destination much faster, but the buses are far more comfortable and safer.
  

Transfer possibilities: Assistance at the airport or at the port at the end of the stay (arrival pick-up is already included)

• From Casablanca airport: 160 EUR

Supplement of 20 EUR for arrival and departure between 11pm and 7am.
