Summer Homestay Immersion in Italy (English native speakers only)

Are you looking to discover the beauty and colors of the Italian culture, while living with an italian host family program? Experience a summer homestay immersion program in Italy with Nacel! 

Our Italian homestay immersion in Italy offers students the opportunity to experience the Italian way of life, and allow them to discover the typical life of a young Italian teenager, by living with an Italian host family during the summer. The program lasts from 4 to 6 weeks. During the Italian homestay immersion in Italy, students will be welcomed by their Italian host families as if they were a new member. Enjoy an Italian summer with your host siblings! This is an authentic Italian summer homestay immersion in Italy.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

• Nacel’s homestay with an Italian host family provides firsthand opportunity to understand the Italian culture, and improve language communication skills. 
• Our Host families are volunteers. 
• The Italian homestay program will improve the student’s knowledge of Italian culture and language through active participation in family, school and community life.

During the summer homestay immersion in Italy, accommodation is provided by an Italian host family, with full board.

The volunteer family hosts the student on a full board basis. We will place the student with a carefully selected Italian family or families, for the duration of the program. Host families are interviewed at home, to insure that they have the capacity and economic resources to properly host a teenage exchange student. Host families come from varied social and economic backgrounds, and live in a variety of locations (in a big town, in a small city, in a village or on a farm...). Wherever the student’s host family lives, there are wonderful things to discover and absorb.

You must be from 14 to 18 years of age, and you must have a minimum of 1 year of studies in Italian. 
Students are required to be open minded and adaptable, as they can be placed anywhere in Italy.
