This is an update on my homestay experience with the D. family thus far. It has been excellent! The school was great, my host brother made it easy for me to meet people and find my way around school, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed my week of school. The teachers and students were very welcoming and after the first day, I was feeling comfortable. My host family has been ideal also, I’ve had no problems and they’ve facilitated me in every way. I’ve met lots of H's extended family and they are all very welcoming. So far I’ve seen the Christmas markets, explored Paris and its icons, the Amiens gothic cathedral, the Christmas markets, explored the town by bike, met friends and family of my family and much more. I am truly loving my time here and look forward to every day. We are currently setting up the house for Christmas which is enjoyable and lots of family will be arriving soon. The trip is going as well as I could hope for it to be. I am very happy here.

Lawson’s mom: ‘Lawson has enjoyed a marvelous visit in France and his host family has been extremely generous and gracious during his visit. We are all very grateful for the experience that they have provided him.’

'I echo the sentiments of Lawson's family. I cannot thank you enough for how smoothly the exchange experience has gone for Fergus. He has been hosted by the most beautiful family who have connected with me via email with updates periodically and photos. This has been very much appreciated. Of course, the deeper level of appreciation for the boys is likely to come in the months and years that follow this experience which will have changed their lives and outlook on the world for their lifetime.'  - Mother of Fergus.

I hope this finds you well.  Last year around this time, my son Aaron spent 5 weeks in Nemours, France on a homestay and high school program. He had such a wonderful experience that he kept studying French after returning to Japan. In November, he ended up placing first in the intermediate level of a French speech contest held by the Embassy of France in Japan.  The award is 4 weeks of studying French at a university language school in Besancon this coming August.  I wanted to thank you for starting him on this adventure and for placing him in such a wonderful environment. ' Lori, mother of Aaron 16 years
