​State-supported private schools are significantly subsidized, making them much more affordable than fully independent international private schools in France. These schools adhere to the national curriculum, and while many have a religious foundation (often Catholic), students are not required to participate in religious services.

Study in a French secondary school

Our high school exchange program will allow international pupils to join the traditional French education system. On a positive note, graduation from the Lycée is possible as long as the international students have been at the school for a minimum of 2 years and have the necessary credits. 

Our High school program in France welcomes students from 10th grade. However please note that is up to the school principal criteria where students will be placed based on performance and French level.

This is a full board program (3 meals a day). 

International students will stay at the school quarters from Monday to Friday. During the weekends, holidays and vacations students will stay with a welcoming French host family.

School Year Abroad in France 2025/2026

School trimestre :

• late August 2025 to December 2025 (with orientation/ soft landing camp)
• early February 2026 to May 2026 (no orientation)

School semester :

• late August 2025 to mid January 2026 (with orientation/ soft landing camp)
• mid January 2026 to mid June 2025 (no orientation)

School academic year:

• late August 2025 to mid June 2026 (with orientation/ soft landing camp)
• mid January 2025 to late December 2026 (no orientation and no accommodation during the summer break)

Price includes

• Administration fees
• School registration and fees (including school lunches)
• Boarding school on weekdays and host family accommodation with full board on weekends, bank holidays and half term holidays

• Round-trip international airfare
• Travel insurance (luggage loss, flight delay etc.)
• Visa, passport and medical exam fees
• Extra activities such as sports, excursions, etc. organized by the school or others, extra language courses
• Domestic transfer on departure day
• Personal expenses and spending money

Mandatory fees to be added

• Meet&Greet + Orientation: 500 EUR
• Supervised transfer on arrival to school/host family: 530 EUR
• Insurance: 450 EUR
• School transportation: term 150 EUR - Semester 200 EUR - Year 250 EUR (Igon: term 180 EUR - Semester 470 EUR - Year 470 EUR)
• School books: 120 EUR (Tarbes), 175 EUR (Igon), 250 EUR (Auch), 170 EUR (St Gaudens)
  

This program looks for candidates that are:  adaptable, mature and very responsible. Being away from home might be a challenging experience at the beginning and it takes all of these 3 elements to have a successful stay! 

Additionally students applying to this South West of France boarding school are required to have a minimum of 2 years of French studies.
