Spanish sports camp in Spain DESCRIPTION :
All our summer sports camps in Spain are organised by a professional team from our sports branch: SPORTS ELITE JEUNES. For each of these sport camps, the sport practices are lead by qualified monitors, who guide the “campers” all day and night long. Students must show that they are mature enough to participate in a multinational summer camp. All our sports camps are non-smoking.
Participants and monitors are mainly French but they also speak Spanish.
The Spanish and Sports summer camp is located in a beautiful park overlooking the sea not far away from Barcelona, 7 km from the beach. It offers 260 beds and a wide range of equipments to practice many sports: football, basketball, volleyball, ping pong… and a swimming pool. Students share their accommodation in a double room with a private bathroom.
LANGUAGE COURSES
Students will attend Spanish courses on mornings and practice different sports on afternoons. Participants take advantage of their stay in Spain to improve their Spanish knowledge and to have fun by practising different sports on afternoons. Spanish courses are given in teachers specialized in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Students attend 15 hours Spanish courses per week (3 hours daily from Monday to Friday) in small groups from 10 to 15 students. Groups are set according to the Spanish level (test on arrival) and the age of the participants. Our qualified language teachers are native Spanish.
SPORTS
Students will practice sports each afternoon and will be monitored by qualified instructors: badminton, basketball, baseball, orientation, football, handball, rugby, table tennis, ultimate and volleyball.

ACTIVITIES :
Participants will discover Barcelona during 4 excursions. They will visit the Sagrada Familia, the Nou Camp, the Olympic Games’ park and many other historic parts of town.
Social activities will be offered on most evenings.
ELIGIBILITY :
2 years of Spanish study.

3 months before arrival.
