Our Spanish school is ideally located, in the right city center of Marbella; 5 minute walk from the beach and the Maritime Promenade. The language school is well deserved, so it is easy to get there by public transport or merely by walk.

Facilities: new 3 story building ; Each classroom has audio-visual equipment; Huge terrace, 3,500 m2 Air conditioning ; Large common room with vending machines ; Study hall/ reading room Library services (books and videos) ; Teachers' room ; 7 computers with free Internet access.
Number of classrooms: 17 classrooms (14 inside and 3 outside)
Size of the school: small school (capacity of 130 students).

Learn Spanish in Marbella! Our Spanish school is situated in the heart of the city, 5 minutes away from the beach. It offers a wide rang of cultural activities and excursions, many free of charge! The plus of this language school is that small groups with an average of 5 students are organised and the teachers are very helpful. What we can regret, is that in Marbella, there are many tourists so you may spend more time speaking English outside the school, but for those looking for improving both language, this stay may be very helpful!

COURSE
Type of course: General Spanish and General Spanish + culture and civilisation.
Course content: The program is meant to students who wish to learn the basic rules of Spanish: a stress on grammar and basic vocabulary, oral and written expression, Spanish culture and civilisation.
Course duration: 55 minutes
School optional subject: Spanish culture and civilisation.
Number of courses/week: 10, 20 courses/week or 20+5 or 25 +5 (General courses+ Culture and Civilisation courses)
Course level: from beginner to advanced.
Test on arrival: yes
Number of students per class: 10 students for classes of general Spanish (12 for classes of culture and civilisation).
Course material: not included.
Certificate awarded at the end of the stay.

- Host family: double room, half board (breakfast and evening meal).
- Shared flat: double room; meals not included. The placement in the shared flat will be granted according to availability. A €150 deposit is required and is refunded at the end of the stay if no damage has been made.

ACTIVITIES :

Learn Spanish and have fun in Marbella! Our Spanish school plans afternoon and evening activities every week such as city tours, flamenco shows, Málaga & the Picasso Museum … but it also arranges weekend trips in several cities such as Córdoba; Sevilla; Nerja Caves… These optional activities’ programme and prices will be disclosed at your arrival.
Students are responsible for any fees related to these optional activities.

EXTRA ACTIVITES :

ACCESS/TRANSPORTATION
- Regular airlines to Malaga and then take the bus until Marbella At your arrival take a taxi until your place of living or choose the transfer option.
Nearest airport: Pablo Ruíz Picasso international airport (Malaga), located at 45 Km from Marbella.

Travels by bus is also organised from France and Switzerland (ALSA: www.alsa.es; LINEBUS: www.linebus.com).  Marbella's bus station is located on Calle Trapiche, at a 20-minute walk to the center. Local buses #2 or 7 will drop you right by the old town.
Nearest train station: Fuengirola, a 27 KM- distance from Marbella. (Marbella does not have a train station).
By road: Road N-340, Mediterranean motorway (AP-7) or Costa del Sol road (A-7).

Transfer possibilities: pick-up at your arrival and assistance until the place of living and/or walk-home programme at the end of the stay.
Cost for each way: 85 EUR (150 EUR return).

LIVING COST
Big Mac Price Index: Spain= $2.09; EU. = $3.73 (according to “The Economist” data, 2006).
- Food: for two people, our food bills are 350 €/month. An average restaurant per person bill is 12€. A glass of beer or wine at a bar is 1.50€. A tapa is 2€. A good lunch (menu del día) is 5-9€
- A nursery for a child is 100 €/month for 5 hours/day.
- A parking space in a garage is 90 €/month.
- A gym is 30 - 50 €/month.
- A movie theatre ticket is 6€.
- A man’s haircut is 12€.
