Learn Spanish in Alicante! The Spanish school in Alicante is centrically located with a plethora of restaurants, cafes, disco bars along the Explanada and around. Moreover, it is right by Rambla Méndez Nuñez, a main bus stop.

COURSE
Type of course: General Spanish and General Spanish + culture and civilisation.
Course content: The program is meant to students who wish to learn the basic rules of Spanish: a stress on grammar and basic vocabulary, oral and written expression, Spanish culture and civilisation.
Course duration: 55 minutes
School optional subject: Spanish culture and civilisation.
Number of courses/week: 10, 20 courses/week or 20+5 or 25 +5 (General courses+ Culture and Civilisation courses)
Course level: from beginner to advanced.
Test on arrival: yes
Number of students per class: 10 students for classes of general Spanish (16 for classes of culture and civilisation).

- Spanish host family: double room, half board (breakfast and evening meal).
- Shared flat: double room; meals not included. The placement in the shared flat will be granted according to availability. A €150 deposit is required and is refunded at the end of the stay if no damage has been made.

ACTIVITIES :

Learn Spanish in Spain and have fun in Alicante! Our Spanish school usually arranges several activities and visits such as City tour of Alicante; Museums and special exhibits: Las Hogueras, Fine Arts, Archaeology, the Aquarium, Santa Barbara Castle; local markets and so on.  Please note that these kinds of activities are usually free, but you may have to pay out of pocket expenses like entrance fees to museums and transportation. It also offers weekend trips for €30 and up, depending on the duration and distance of the trip, such as: Madrid, Barcelona, Benidorm or Valencia. Nearest airport: Alicante Airport (Aeropuerto de Alicante). It is connected with Madrid and Barcelona by frequent Iberia and Spanair flights, with many Western European cities through carriers such as Jet2.com, EasyJet, Ryanair and Air Berlin, and has also flights to Algiers and Russia. In addition, Alicante's only link to South America, specifically Bogotá, is provided by Avianca.
At your arrival take a taxi until your place of living or choose the transfer option.

Travels by bus is also organised from France and Switzerland (ALSA: www.alsa.es; LINEBUS: www.linebus.com). The Alicante tram connects the city with outlying settlements.
Nearest train station: Alicante's main train station (La Estación de Tren de Alicante) is located directly in the center of the city (Avenida de Salamanca). All major Spanish cities Madrid, Seville, Barcelona have various daily connections (www.renfe.es).
Alicante second train station is a narrow gauge railway station close to the harbour
(www.cop.gva.es/fgv/).

Transfer possibilities: pick-up at your arrival and assistance until the place of living and/or walk-home programme at the end of the stay.

- Food: for two people, food bills are 350 €/month. An average restaurant per person bill is 12€. A glass of beer or wine at a bar is 1.50€. A tapa is 2€. A good lunch (menu del día) is 5-9€
