DESCRIPTION :

Learn English with Nacel! Our English Language Course in Canada offers a unique combination of language classes, speech practice and immersion in a host family. The language program offers small group English language classes for students to improve their language skills and increase their knowledge of the foreign culture in an individualized learning environment. Each language class consists of 4 or 5 students whose language level is similar and who are placed in host families living in proximity to the tutor. This is a multilevel English language course. Students who compose a group can be of a different nationality. They are especially interested in making specific progress in language skills, while taking this opportunity to live with a local family. In many cases parents encourage this type of language programs as their child achieves more concrete progress in structured English language course than in a family stay. Scheduled field trips and excursions are also very attractive!

ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSES
Participants meet with their tutor (in the tutor's home or in a nearby facility) Monday through Friday. Mornings English classes are held (36 hours tuition in total), 4 days a week. English language courses focus on pronunciation, comprehension and grammatical structures. Tutor and students have lunch together and then spend afternoons on field trips and activities.

Tutors are chosen for their competence in teaching their native language (English), for their good relationship with young people and their enthusiasm for sharing their culture. They follow a curriculum outline provided by Nacel and are encouraged to be creative in adapting the curriculum of the English course to the needs of their individual student's language levels.

ELIGIBILITY :

A basic knowledge (one year study) of English is required for these English language courses.

For closed groups, other dates may be arranged.

PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE :

- International airfare
- International Travel insurance
- Visa, passport and medical exam fees
- Airport pick-up and transfers on arrival and departure from the closest airport to the host family (Canada, England, Germany, Ireland, Malta, Spain, USA): this service will be provided by Nacel for an extra cost; the price of the service depends on the size of the group
- Extra activities organized by the family or others
- Personal expenses and pocket money
- Medical and Emergency Repatriation Insurance
- Application fees (35 euros)
