DESCRIPTION :

Nacel is pleased to offer international students a Hotel Management Internship in France. This internship program in France offers professional work experience in the hotel and catering industry . Nacel will give the student assistance in finding internship placements in quality hotels in France. The placements are designed for students looking for professional experience in line with their studies and their professional objectives. It's not a summer job.
Non-EU students (Bulgarian and Romanian students as well) take compulsory French language courses prior or during their Internship (5 individual hours per week or 15 hours group tuition).

INTERNSHIP PLACEMENT IN FRANCE:
Placements are organized in the French hotel/catering industry (independent hotels/restaurants, hotel chains) and may be in every area of this activity: kitchen, waiter, receptionist, cleaning etc….

WORK CONDITIONS:
The timetable and conditions of the Internship in France is to be agreed upon at the time of interview between the employer and the intern. The placement is full-time, i.e. 39 to 42 hours per week. The intern receives a weekly allowance of around 35€.

ACCOMMODATION :

Accommodation and full board are usually provided by the hotel during the placement in France.

LESSONS :

15 hours

ELIGIBILITY :

Non-EU students. Student visa is required for non-EU students to stay in France.
Students from other countries.

DEADLINE :

At least 3 months before arrival in France.

CONDITIONS - INTERNSHIP IN FRANCE :

Applicants to the Internship program in France need:
- to have at least an intermediate level of French on arrival;
- to study hotel/catering/tourism in their home country and be a full time student;
- to have appropriate educational background and experience in the hotel/catering/tourism industry;
- to sign an agreement for the purpose of the internship with the employer and their university/school in their home country.
