Internship China

DESCRIPTION :

Nacel offers an answer to the growing demand of foreign students who want to experience a rapidly changing 21st century China in a day-to-day work context. This internship program in China provides a work experience and ongoing Chinese language training (10h/week for beginners in small classes max.10 people; 4h/week for more advanced students in classes of max. 3 people) for interns in a language school in Beijing, allowing them to communicate perfectly with their colleagues and understand the context within which they are working. The language school also offers supporting services during the entire internship in China.

INTERNSHIP PLACEMENT:
Internship placements are provided in both international and local companies. Unpaid qualified internships in China are offered in the following sector: business administration, architecture, interior design, education, training, culture, engineering, manufacturing, finance, banking, graphic design, health and and medical, human resources, marketing, IT, law, journalism, media, logistics, sales, public relations, translation or travel and tourism.

WORK CONDITIONS:
The timetable and conditions of the internship is to be agreed upon at the time of interview between the employer and the intern. Most of partner companies pay a small salary, which is actually rather a ‘living allowance’. However, some companies don’t pay any salary at all, especially when the duration is too short (3 months or less) or when the applicant’s qualifications are not very high (e.g. only high school diploma). The allowance varies between 1000-6000 RMB/month, depending on the interns’ qualifications (between 130 and 783 US$).

ACCOMMODATION :

Shared flat, single room, self-catering, in Beijing, China. Accommodation for the entire stay is included in the price.

LESSONS :

10 hours/week

ELIGIBILITY :

All citizenships.
F visa (also known as Business Visa).

DEADLINE :

At least 3 months before arrival in China. Late application may be accepted.

CONDITIONS - INTERNSHIP IN CHINA :

Applicants to an internship in China need to have at least an intermediate level of English on arrival. Specific requirements are detailed on the complete information sheet, available on request.
The internship in China is especially suitable for:

- Graduates who want to get their first working experience abroad;
- Young professionals who want to start a new career in Beijing, China.
