DESCRIPTION :
Students will be hosted by an American host family and will attend classes in a local High School. The host families are middle-class families, who are willing to share their lives, hearts and home with a foreign high school student. American high schools believe that the presence of international students enhances the learning environment and teachers expect them to be active in the school’s life. Extra curricular activities are offered by all schools: sports and music are really popular but photography or volunteer work may also be proposed. These activities are a good way to integrate and to make friends among American students. The student is responsible for all school fees: registration, books, lockers, laboratories, gym/physical education, yearbook, class ring, letter jacket, student activities, extra-curricular etc. Classes start in August and finish in June.
