DESCRIPTION :

Nacel offers to younger international students a small, fully accredited and friendly college located in safe and attractive surroundings close to extensive parkland. It is specialised in high quality Academic and English tuition to small groups (average 4 - 5 students). The College is situated in a large and elegant spa town in the North of England. The town is less than 3 hours by train from London. Rugby union, football, cricket, polo and hockey are popular sports there.

SCHOOL CURRICULUM
International students join either the GCSE course or a so-called Link course. The General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) is the name of a set of British qualifications, taken by secondary school students, at age of 14-16. Students take five or six subjects (the College has 23 GCSE subjects on offer). The College has also developed “link courses” which combine English with academic subjects. Students are prepared for the Cambridge IELTS examination and combine their English study with 3 GCSE subjects.

ELIGIBILITY :

Students must be interviewed in their home country before being accepted.
Specific requirements:
- a good academic profile;
- an intermediate level of English.

March 31st for arrival in August. Late application may be accepted, depending on availability.
